The home has splendid views of the ocean from almost every room, and is situated on the famous Cliff Path which runs all the way from the New Harbour to Grotto Beach.
Whale Watching
You can see the famous Hermanus whales in season (June to mid-December) from two of the bedrooms, and from the patio leading from the lounge.
Walking & Hiking
The cliff paths are accessible within metres of the front of the house, and stretches for 10-12km along the coastline. Here you will see a large selection of fauna & flora of the region, and there are many benches from where you can stare at the “angry water” of Kwaaiwater, or watch the whales playing in the sea.
Sunrise and sunset are spectacular times of the day to be out and about on the cliff paths, and you will come across locals and other holiday makers enjoying the outdoors.
